Samick Acquires Seiler
Pianos Will Continue to Be Manufactured in Germany
Samick Musical Instruments Co., Ltd. is proud to announce that it has acquired ED. SEILER Pianofortefabrik GmbH & Co. KG as a wholly owned subsidiary effective November 1, 2008.
A new management team for SEILER has been appointed, and SEILER pianos will continue to be manufactured in Germany in the same factories by the same skilled craftsmen that made SEILER one of the World’s finest pianos for generations.
Samick has always admired German innovation, engineering, and craftsmanship, and is indeed proud to be able to offer a line of quality German-made products in addition to its extensive line of products currently being manufactured in Korea, Indonesia, and the United States of America.
SEILER pianos will be on display at the NAMM Show in the SAMICK booth located in rooms 210 A&B. Additional new models will be showcased at the upcoming Musikmesse in Frankfurt.
Samick Hosts NAMM Jam in Nashville
Greg Bennett Artists and Employees Rock to a Packed House at BB King's

Fretboard action heated up at the Greg Bennett ‘NAMM Jam’ held during the annual summer NAMM show in Nashville, Tennessee. The event was dedicated to and in celebration of community music stores throughout the country that continue to serve their local communities by providing musical instrument sales, service, and education.
The jam took place at BB Kings Blues Club downtown and featured 2006 Guitar World Magazine ‘Guitar Hero’ winner Ladd Smith (pictured above), who played his customized Greg Bennett Formula FA1. Other performing artists included Coles Whalen, Jessie Lynn, Shawn Michael Perry, Ravi, Roger Zimish, Michell Chenard, Steve Rutledge and a host of music store owners who showed up to have fun and show off their chops.
